My story is similar to that of many others in our Madison community. I grew up in Bogota, Colombia and moved to the United States in high school. From this early age, I knew that I wanted to make the most of the opportunity my parents had given me and worked hard to better myself and pursue my education goals.
After high school, with hard work and the support of my family, I got accepted into UW-Madison, where I graduated from with a degree in political science and international studies.
