1| Initial Meeting
As soon as you contact me, we’ll set up a meeting so I can learn more about your needs, hopes, and expectations. During this meeting I will also break down the home buying process for you and answer any questions you might have.
2| First Steps
After the initial meeting, if you’re ready to get started, I will guide you through the process of obtaining a pre-approval letter from a mortgage lender of your choice (I have a few trusted lenders to recommend, should you need them).
Once we have your pre-approval letter and know your budget, I will set you up with email alerts so you get a notification every time a listing within your budget and that meets your requirements (# of bedrooms, baths, etc.) becomes available.
3| Home Search & Showings
The fun part! This is when you let me know when you find a listing that you’re interested in learning more about. But don’t worry—it’s not all on you. I also keep an eye on listings and will let you know if I find something that I think you might like or if there are any upcoming open houses that might be a good fit.
I will help you research neighborhoods, school districts, and any other details you need to decide what works best for you.
Once we find a house you like, I will contact the seller on your behalf and ask any follow up questions and schedule a showing. We might go to a few showings before we find your perfect home—and that’s okay! I want you to get a feel for what’s out there so you can truly learn what you like and don’t like, so you can feel confident in your decision once you choose to put an offer on a home.
4| Putting an Offer & Closing Process
I will research similar listings in the area so that we can find out what’s a fair pricing for the property and use it in your offer. As your agent, I’m your advocate during the whole buying process. I will do the research to get you the best price possible and negotiate fair terms on your behalf.
Once you have an accepted offer, I’ll get to work on the paperwork and guide you through the closing. I’ll help you select a home inspector and ensure we do our due diligence to protect your interest at every step of the way.
5| To Homeownership & Beyond
Just because you successfully purchased a home it does not mean that you can’t count on me for all your home needs.
